Friday Show:  Hadestown

Hadestown is a Tony-winning Broadway musical by Anaïs Mitchell that reimagines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, blending them with jazz-inflected folk music and a post-apocalyptic setting. The show explores themes of nature versus industry, doubt versus faith, and love versus fear, and tells the story of Orpheus' quest to rescue his love, Eurydice, from the underworld. It features a vibrant ensemble and has won multiple awards, including eight Tony Awards, with its Broadway debut in 2019 after premiering off-Broadway in 2016.

Saturday's Show:  Buena Vista Social Club

The "Buena Vista Social Club" musical on Broadway is a new show that opened in 2025, inspired by the Grammy-winning 1997 album and documentary of the same name. It tells the story of legendary Cuban musicians, balancing their lives in the 1950s with their reunion and recording in the 1990s. The musical is acclaimed for its vibrant atmosphere, live band, and the rich cultural heritage of Cuban music, with performances featuring songs from the original album.

Monday's show (possibly Tuesday depending on ticket availability): SIX

Six is a Broadway musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, featuring the six wives of Henry VIII, who reclaim their stories from historical heartbreak and present themselves as 21st-century pop icons in a celebratory, high-energy show. Originally a student production, it evolved into a global sensation and won multiple awards, including a Tony Award for Best Original Score. The show is known for its girl power message, with the all-female cast backed by an all-female band, and it focuses on the wives' empowerment and their experiences beyond their connection to the king.
