Insurance Information
Please remember from the discussion at the meeting you DO NOT have to purchase the Brightspark Insurance when you register- you will be covered under the district USIC insurance. Only add the Brightspark insurance if you want to pay for ADDITIONAL insurance. Some of it will be redundant.
Our school district requires that major school tours such as this one purchase the district Insurance package as it is uniquely tailored for our specific needs. The USIC - Student Health Insurance - To view or print the Outbound Student Plan coverage click on the image below.
Once we have final confirmation on the cost of the district insurance coverage, you will be able to pay this fee on Powerschool or at the bookstore in the school. We'll post that information here once we can.
Additionally Brightspark has an insurance package that they offer to student travellers that may offer additional coverage if you choose to purchase both. You are welcome to purchase your own insurance from your own provider in addition to the District Insurance Coverage if you would like to. Click on the image below to view or print document.
Once you have registered for the tour on Brightspark's website you will have the option to include the added insurance protection through their payment portal if you would like to.
